Answer: The first interracial kiss on US television–  took place between Sammy Davis, Jr. & Nancy Sinatra(2), when they briefly kissed on the variety program Movin’ With Nancy in December 1967. However the second instance is better remembered –  the kiss between William Shatner & Nichelle Nichols (1) on Star Trek. The vague clue was that the actress Zubeida Begum on whom the movie Zubeidaa is based on, was the first Indian woman to be kissed in films. Sorry about that.:)
