The story of these movies can be traced to Krishna and Sudama. The guys in the pic are all “Sudama” type characters. Whereas the superstars are playing “Krishna” like characters basically themselves.
The painting is an illustration of Sudama and Krishna. All the other pics are of actors who have played the role of Sudama in the movies (made in different languages) based on the friendship between Sudama and Krishna.
X is Malayalam superstar Mammootty. A is Malayalam actor-director Sreeenivasan. They played Krishna and Sudama resp. in the original Malayalam version (Katha Paryumbol).
Y is superstar Rajnikanth, who played Krishna’s role in the Tamil and Telugu remakes. B is the Telugu actor who donned Sudama’s role (don’t know his name) and C is actor Pasupathy from the Tamil remake.
Z is SRK who played Krishna in the Hindi remake “Billu” with D – Irfan Khan in the role of Sudama.
